Put Yourself In Your Reader’s Shoes

We said it before and we’ll say it again: you must put yourself in your reader’s shoes.

Before firing of ANY piece of comms, take a second and think:

How’s my reader going to receive this?

Questions to answer:

• Is this the right time?
• Will this message land and give me what I need?
